Our Projects
Looking Ahead
By the year 2010, Santa Clara aims to be the leading primary education institution in Olancho. Strong school leadership will continue to establish high academic standards for our students and preserve quality instruction as new grade levels are added. In 2012 we will proudly graduate the first class to have completed their entire primary education at the Santa Clara School.
Through the efforts of Father Richard Donahue, and with support from Santa Clara's Association of Parents and Families, we've begun construction of a new school campus in the village of La Empalizada, just outside of Juticalpa. A generous land donation from the Lobo family and continued financial support from benefactors will make opening the doors to eighteen new classrooms a reality in 2007.
A lot of work is ahead of us, but it's all possible with the help of generous donors and volunteers. We encourage you to learn more about donating to Olancho Aid or volunteering with us. Both are easy and rewarding ways to ensure the continued success of Santa Clara School!
